We fund three types of grants: Bedrock Grants for continued work, Magma Grants for fellowships or other forms of career development, and Tectonic Grants for pursuing new directions.

    • Grants are awarded only to public charities- and not to individuals or private foundations.

    • Grants will not be provided for support of unsolicited applications, individuals, governmental agencies, deficit financing, religious organizations, or groups which do not have their own 501(c)(3) status.

    • Requests for funding (grant applications and Letters of Interest) are typically reviewed within a month of receipt.

    • Grantees with preliminary approval are notified shortly thereafter, at which time additional information may be requested.

    • Upon final approval, grant funds are typically dispersed within thirty (30) days or as otherwise set forth in the signed agreement.

    • The grantee partner will contact Every Page Foundation (EPF) prior to recognizing the grant in any media, including printed materials, articles, websites, annual reports, or press releases, publicizing this grant.  There shall be no formal announcement or other first public recognition of this grant without the prior consent of EPF.

    • The grantee partner will send, with respect to activities supported by a grant: 1) representative images, 2) invitations to any special programs or events, and 3) copies of any ephemera and all major deliverables, such as, but not limited to articles, research publications, and media products, to EPF.

    • The grantee partner will submit a Grant Report to EPF, summarizing the use of the awarded funds, within thirteen (13) months of each grant check date.

    • Additional requirements may be specified in the Grant Agreement or notification of an unsolicited gift.

    • Grants are funded, primarily to support general operating and specific program/project needs.

    • Grant requests for capacity building, capital projects, and art acquisition will also be considered.

    • Most grants are awarded for one year in duration, multi-year grants will also be considered.

Bedrock

Bedrock Grants are awarded to organizations for on-going or continued work, based on prior and demonstrable success or achievement.

Most of the grants that we fund are Bedrock Grants.

Requires an online application

Magma Grants are awarded to organizations in order to administer mentorship programs (e.g., scholarships, fellowships) to support a new generation of creative leaders in the arts and sciences, who will direct efforts toward social and/or environmental justice

Magma

Requires an online application if the Magma Grant request is for a program that has already been established or a Letter of Intent (LOI) if the request is for establishing a new program

Tectonic

Tectonic Grants are awarded to organizations in order to spearhead new, bold, and transformative plans for systemic change, in which there may not yet be proof of concept or extensive history of work in that area.

Generally, a grantee relationship begins with a Bedrock Grant.

Requires a Letter of Intent (LOI), and after pre-approval, a discussion, and a full, written proposal
